Dueling Red Carpet CorreSpondents

How a Global Call-to-Action, alongside two of the internet’s most opinionated and influential voices, ignited the Realm by Dividing the Fandom into #TeamBlack and #TeamGreen

Striving to re-infuse House of the Dragon back into the cultural zeitgeist while engaging new audiences everywhere, we set our sights on an ambitious content series that would ignite unprecedented hype for the return of Max's global phenomenon. Our mission: partner with two of the internet’s boldest personalities, Brittany Broski and Tefi Pessoa, and turn them into dueling red carpet correspondents at the House of the Dragon world premiere in New York City to stage the series’ great debate: are you #TeamBlack or #TeamGreen?

Team Green: Brittany

Team Black: Tefi

Each correspondent brought a unique perspective to the rivalry debate, expressing opinions the brand couldn’t or shouldn’t (aka favoritism). This format outperformed traditional hidden interviewer, floating mic-styled content, which often lacks personality. The dueling creators successfully sparked debate across the social landscape, with each fan pledging their loyalty in the comments or creating their own content inspired by the correspondents.

Max teamed up and put their trust in two of the most current and popular influential voices to represent the brand on the red carpet for the House of the Dragon premiere. Both Brittany and Tefi’s high energy and competitive spirit flowed throughout the night to cast members as they playfully debated which council, Team Green or Team Black, was the supreme choice and ease the cast members before they make their way to the massive press line.

Brittany Broski

Brittany, outside being one of the franchises’ biggest superfans, is also the internet’s “supreme ruler” (a title given to her by her fans), making her the perfect fit to be the underdog Team Green red carpet correspondent. She is Ewan Mitchell’s biggest fan and is willing to “die on the sword” for her baby Aemond Targaryen, who in her book, “did nothing wrong!!”

Tefi Pessoa

Tefi is an HBO aficionado, seasoned red carpet premiere host, and content creator who is known as TikTok's “big sis” for her honest advice, hilarious anecdotes, and detailed deep dives into pop-culture relationships. She was perfect to represent Team Black and matched the fandom’s unwavering, over-the-top loyalty.

Brittany Broski’s involvement continued to drive the conversation beyond her initial campaign beat integrations. Upon seeing her first pieces of content before the Red Carpet Premiere, Brittany’s fandom took to social (IG, TW, TikTok, Reddit) to celebrate the news of their queen’s victory, expanding the reach of her content but also bringing the conversation into new pop culture spaces. Brittany’s red carpet would go on to appear in Getty and placements like People, NY Daily News, and L’Officiel. Additionally, Brittany leveraged her dedicated trending podcast, The Broski Report (nearly 1M+ subscribers on YouTube), to extend weekly amplification to audiences who tune in to her for various topical chatter.
